Why AIG Uzuegbu Died At 60 Years, Gov Otti Mourns

The Nigeria Police Force, NPF, has lost one of its accomplished senior officers. 

 

Kanayo Uzuegbu, an Assistant Kanayo Uzuegbu, has just passed on. Until his sad passing,  he was the Assistant Inspector General of Police, AIG, in charge of Zone 9, Umuahia.

 

His passing was announced at an event in Umuahia by a mourning Governor of Abia State, Alex Otti. 

 

While delivering his acceptance speech after he emerged as the Labour Party Governorship candidate for a second term ahead of the 2027 election, Governor Otti said he received the news of AIG’s with sadness and is in deep sorrow over it.

The Governor described Uzuegbu, who succumbed to Cancer after he battled  as “a diligent, hardworking and committed officer who served Nigeria with dedication, professionalism and integrity throughout his distinguished career in the Nigeria Police Force.”

 

AIG Uzuegbu passed at the age ot 60 years.
