Elders of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Ogun state had demonstrated unlimited joy to Governor Ibikunle Amosun by presenting him a portrait as a symbol of support and appreciation as they charged the governor on progressive governance in Ogun state.
The overwhelm elders noted Amosun is a God sent to the people of Ogun state as he has transformed in no time the state with his honcho effort and style of hard work, they told journalists on Amosun birthday in Abeokuta.
Councilor from Ofada Mokoloki LCDA, Hon. Ayodeji Abiodun said the governor has been committed to infrastructural projects and has invested in other ministries to bring succor to the people, according to him, they are comfortably enjoying.
He said: “I think there is nothing much, His Excellency has worked tremendously in the area of infrastructural development, education, agricultural and Health sector. I will only pray that God Almighty will continue to guide him to be able to complete some infrastructural projects going on before the end of his tenure”.
Ayodeji hinted on the awaiting successor of Amosun, while commenting his good will message to the governor. “It’s no more news that his Excellency has declared his support for Ogun west senatorial district to produce the next governor as his successor, also from this region lot of good son of the region has declared their intention of becoming the next governor. I will only pray that God should guide our dear Governor in picking a God fearing person like him, who has the good mind and focus to continue the good work he has started.
“On behalf of the good people of Magboro/ Arepo ward and Ofada mokoloki LCDA, I say happy birthday to our Amiable Governor Senator Ibikunle Amosun. For all his hard work in Ogun State, may his shadow never grow less and he should continue to enjoy the Grace of the Almighty Allah in good health and more blessings” he said
Hon. Funso Makinde, councilor from Atan /Iju /Ilogbo LCDA, applauded the governor for his devotion to the people of Ogun state has he charged the governor on resourceful successor.
“Gov. Amosun has done a lot for us in Ogun state, he put smiles on our faces so he is worth celebrated. If we have a day to do that, he really worth it. On successor, one thing I know is Gov. Amosun will ensure anybody coming after him will be of like mind to continue what he has started and not to destroy what he has worked hard for. On behalf of my people in Atan /Iju /Ilogbo, I say happy birthday to Gov. Amosun” he said.
Also, Hon. .Adegoke Somoye of Obafemi LCDA, Owode Local Government, said “may God be with our governor. Patience and wisdom are two elements to live a happy and prosperous life. On special day of his life, May Allah bless him with these two elements that are essential for a joyful life. May Allah fill his life with endless happy moments, countless wonderful surprises, and infinite success. God will give him wisdom to choose wisely a successor”.
