NDC Says No Registration Fees Required From Support Groups

The Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, has warned its state chapters not to collect registration fees from support groups, which want to work with the party,saying the party does not demand fees for interested groups to join it.

According to the party, in a statement issued by its National Publicity Secretary, Osa Director, who said the NDC charges  no fee for the registration of support groups, saying it has directed the party’s Directorate of Support Groups to register interested groups without any fee charged.

The NDC issued the warning following reports that some state chapters of the party were demanding fees from support groups which are trying to join the party ahead the 2027 general election, the party warnd state chairmne to desist fromthe act becsue the party did not authorise that.

The party said it appreciates the al the suport groups working for it,including the Obidient and Kwankwasiya Movements, adding that the NDC will continue to create a conducive environment toall the groups working forits victory ahead the 2027 elections.

it warned all the state chapters to  be properly guided as the party willnot demand any money from groups upporting it to win next year’s election under ”any guise” urging interested groups to register with the party’s headquarters in Abuja, the nation’s capital

“The NDC cherishes the support and partnership of all support groups, including the Obidient and Kwankwasiya Movements, and will continue to create an enabling environment for them to work for the victory of the party at all levels,” the statement said.
