Mystery: Ifa Priest And Wife Die Same Day, Hours Apart

The ancient city of Odogbolu Kingdom in Ogun State was thrown into mourning following the sudden death of a prominent traditional figure, the Oluwo Ifa of Odogbolu,Chief Kabiru Amigboro.

Shockingly, as the Kingdom was yet to come to terms with the death of the Ifa Priest, his Wife, on hearing about his passing,  slumped and died hours after him.

The late Oluwo Ifa of Odogbolu was reported to have died after a brief illness, while his hale and hearty Wife was said to have passed away later the same day following the shock of her husband’s death.

The double tragedy has thrown the entire residents of Odogbolu Kingdom into grief and mourning.

The late Amigboro was a traditional title holder in Odogbolu, where he served as the Oluwo Ifa, a position associated with the practice and preservation of Ifa, the traditional Yoruba system of divination and spiritual knowledge.

The circumstances surrounding his wife’s death, including whether she had any underlying health condition remain unknown.

It was gathered that the shock of her husband’s death allegedly led to her own death.

The family was yet to release further details about the incident or announce burial arrangements, as they are still grieving over the death of the husband and Wife.
