Nigeria’s self-proclaimed relationship influencer Blessing CEO, has been hit by tragedy while she still in custody over a suit filed against her by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
Even though she has been granted bail since over two months ago, she has remained in custody because of her inability to fulfill the bail conditions.
Now, while still in detention, she has lost her second son Bryan. And she pleads to be allowed home to say goodbye to her late son before his funeral rites.
Bryan’s passing was made public Friday evening by Amira Agiye, CEO of the Isaamira Love Foundation who appealef to Nigerians to support the family.
While she acknowledged that peoplehave different opinions about Blessing CEO and the case that led to her detention, Amira appealed to the public to show compassion following the loss.
Amira: “It is sad to announce to you all that Blessing CEO just lost her second son. My name is Amira Agiye. I’m here to appeal on behalf of Blessing CEO, who is currently in custody. I understand that people might have different opinions about her and the circumstances surrounding her case.
“Please, Nigerians, let’s forgive her for the sake of that boy who is still in the mortuary. With Blessing’s full consent and authorisation, I’m appealing to all Nigerians to help donate so we can help her out of this situation.”
Amira, quoted to the bereaved mother as saying: “My second son, Bryan, was full of life. While in custody, I lost Bryan. I pray this turns out positive so I can leave this place, pick up the pieces of my life and pay my respects to him.”
Bryan 11, celebrated his eighth birthday in 2023 during which time his mother described him as her “2nd seed.”
Recall that
Blessing CEO has been battling multiple legal cases. A Lagos Special Offences Court had, in July, granted her ₦20 million bail in an alleged ₦69.15 million property fraud case. But another case involving an alleged ₦13 million fraud ended in an order for her to be remanded at the Kirikiri Correctional Centre.
Bryan, reportedly, passed following an asthmatic attack.
