The wedding marks a new chapter for Tochi following the tragic February 9, 2024 helicopter crash in California, United States, which claimed the lives of her father, Herbert Wigwe, his wife, Chizoba, their son, Chizi, and Herbert’s business associate, Abimbola Ogunbanjo, former Group Chairman of Nigerian Exchange Group.

The tragedy devastated the Wigwe family and sent shockwaves through Nigeria’s banking and business communities.
