There are dissenting voices within the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) on the chances of President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 elections.
According to African Democratic Congress (ADC) chieftain, Dele Momodu, some APC members are privately hoping President Tinubu loses the 2027 presidential election.
Momodu, speaking on Arise News pointed out that this is because they fear alleged continued oppression.
Momodu revealed that several of his friends in the ruling party were uncomfortable with the political situation but afraid to speak publicly.
“Majority of my friends are in APC. You need to listen to them behind the scene.
They are all scared,” he said.
Momodu’s comments offer further insight into the concerns he says exist within the APC over Tinubu’s possible re-election.
