Peter Obi, the Presidential Candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, has said that his approach to fighting corruption cases which involve politicians will be different from what currently obtains if he wins in 2027.
Obi who spoke in an interview on NOIRE TV, which video was shared on the platform’s official X account said nobody would be victimised using corruption investigations and that he would never interfere with the work of security agencies.
He said: “From the day I become President, I will fight corruption starting from my own team. Relevant agencies could investigate people over past conduct without interference.”
He, however, let it be known that such investigations would be devoid of drama and public spectacles.
Obi: “It won’t be drama, it won’t be on the pages of newspapers. The process would be handled in an organised manner.”
