President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s daughter and the Iyaloja-General of Nigeria Mrs Folashade Tinubu-Ojo, has challenged the outcome of the  just concluded All Progressives Congress, APC primaries in Lagos state, saying she’s prepared to lead market women to protest if the party failed to take a second look at the issue.

The president’s daughter made the remark on Wednesday during the weekly meeting of market leaders and stakeholders held at her office in Alausa, Ikeja.

She accused the leaders of the party, at the state and national levels, of planning to manipulate the results of some state and federal constituencies before they are announced.

For instance, she cited the Mushin Federal Constituency 2, Agege Constituency 2 and Ojokoro constituencies as places where some officials of the party are allegedly trying to turn the table against some popular candidates, who she said had apparently won the primary elections.

Candidates that have won the primary elections in these constituencies, according to her include Seye Oladejo in Mushin Federal Constituency 02, Mutiu Olaide Oladeebo in Agege 2 and Olotu Ojo in Ojokoro, alleging that the party officials are planing to announce a different result.

According to her, she would ensure that this does not happen as she’s prepared to lead market women and other stakeholders in protest if the right thing is not done.

“We are ready to protest because of Seye Oladejo of Mushin Federal Constituency 02, Mutiu Olaide Oladeebo of Agege 2 constituency, Olotu Ojo of Ojokoro constituency, because we know they won this election. Their mandate should not be given to somebody else,” she said.

The magazine reports that there has been protests across the country by some APC aspirants who claimed that they had been rigged out during the ongoing primary elections. For instance, Senator Ned Nwoko who lost a senatorial primary to a former governor of Delta state, Ifeanyi Okowa has threatened to go to court.
