Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has appointed Dr Nureni Adeniran as campaign Director General for his presidential campaign.Adeniran, the current Executive Chairman of the Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board, SUBEB also doubles as the DG for the governorhsip election, according to a statement issued on Wednesday by the governor’s Special Adviser on Media, Dr Sulaimon Olanrewaju.
Governor Makinde is the Presidential candidate of the Allied Peoples’ Movement, while Bimbo Adekanbi is the party’s governorship candidate for the 2027 election in the country.
According to the statement, the governor has also appointed Saheed Arowosaye, as the Deputy State Coordinator of the APM 2027 Presidential Campaign. Others are Demola Ojo, Deputy Director General, South, and Dr Femi Ojo and Alhaji Siju Lawal as Deputy Director Generals.
The statement stressed that the inauguration of the members of the Campaign Council will take place at the Conference Room of the Governor’s Office on Friday.
