It was a gripping and blood chilling story. Personnel of the Anambra State Police Command listened in shock as a young man identified as Chima, face expressionless, narrated Why he butchered his ex-girlfriend, Mmesoma, a Tailor, and native of Ugah, Anambra State. After slaughtering her, she packed her decapitated body in a rice bag and dumped in a forest.
And why? Mmesoma dumped him for another man she planned to marry in December 112026.
His words: “I dated Mmesoma For five years, rented a house and shop, paid her house rent and bought sewing machines for her. But she left me to marry nnother man this December.”
Chima is from Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, but his mother is from Ugah, Anambra State where he was born and raised.
His arrest was made possible by a motorcyclist who picked and drove Mmesoma at Chima’s house.
