Update: Shoot-Out At Ambode’s, As Kinsmen Rally Round Him, Withstand EFCC

The visit to the Epe home of the former Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, by the EFFC, Tuesday morning, did not go as smoothly as was first reported.

There was a shoot-out as his kinsmen rallied round him, and prevented  the EFCC operatives from gaining entrance into his home.

The Operatives, fearing a   mob action, and avoiding a bloody confrontation, beat a retreat, by shooting their way through, while quickly boarding a white bus they came in.

Said the people:”We will never allow this to happen”

For them, the raid meant another humiliation of their son, who was humiliated out of a second term in office.   But, for how long can they prevent the law from taking its course?

For how long can the power of his angry kinsmen prevail?
