As the world mourns the death, in a helicopter crash, of Basketball Legend, Kobe Bryant more details and the identities of the four victims who perished with him have emerged.
Gone with him on the ill-fated flight was his 13-year old daughter who also played Basketball. Kobe and his daughter were best friends, and were, almost, always together. Sadly, father and daughter died, clinging to each other.
Dead too were her daughter’s team mate and her parents.
They were going to the children’s basketball game before the crash.
The kids basketball team mates and many others had assembled, and were waiting for them before the the news of the crash hit them like a thunderbolt.
Kobe, NBA superstar, icon, celebrity, philanthropist, and citizen of the world, perished, with four others, at about 10.00am, Californian time, Sunday morning.
