The Governing Council of Trinity University has announced the appointment of Professor Clement Olusegun Olaniran Kolawole as the Acting Vice Chancellor of the University.
In a press statement, the University said the new Acting Vice Chancellor has extensive experience both as an academic and an administrator, along with national and international pedigrees.
Professor Kolawole’s appointment is coming in the wake of the recent passage of the pioneer Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Charles Korede Ayo.
The Acting Vice Chancellor, appointed as a Professor by the University of Ibadan in 2008, was a former Head of Department and Dean of Faculty in the Premier University. He would be assuming duty on September 11, 2023.
