Residents of Watch Tower in the Araromi, Imota area of Lagos were Thursday evening left wondering what could have prompted an octogenarian to end his life.
The 80-year-old man identified as Isiaka Ayinde reportedly hung himself with a rope in the kitchen.
The deceased children who discovered his lifeless body raised the alarm which attracted other tenants in the compound.
Meanwhile, the magazine learnt that shunning police investigation into the incident, Isiaka’s family has opted to bury his remains immediately in line with his religious belief.
