US Congresswoman, Lauren Boebert, is at the centre of an alleged s&x scandal, though no confirmed sources has prove the allegation.
Boebert has been accused in an ethics complaint of having inappropriate s&xual relationships with three members of her staff and allegedly paying one of them $200,000 to keep quiet.
The complaint, filed on September 17 by investigative journalist David Wheeler, alleged that the Colorado representative had relationships with former district director Clarice Navarro, district chief of staff Raven Finegan and former chief of staff Jeffrey Small.
It further claims that Boebert’s alleged relationship with Navarro began in 2021 and continued until Navarro left her office in January 2025, with the encounters allegedly taking place at the district office, in a vehicle and in hotel rooms reportedly paid for by Boebert’s campaign.
The complaint also alleges that Boebert paid Navarro $200,000 after she threatened to file an ethics complaint in March 2025.
Boebert, 39, has denied the allegations, saying, “I’m not a lesbian or bis&xual, and I have never, ever been in any inappropriate relationship, nor have I ever been s&xually involved with any staff.”
Her spokesman also described the allegations as false and called them a politically motivated stunt intended to manipulate the ethics process, create headlines and smear her.
Navarro also denied the claims, describing the allegations as false and defamatory.
The controversy comes after Boebert herself asked reporters on Capitol Hill in April, “Why is everybody so horny here?” while discussing s&xual misconduct allegations involving lawmakers.
Wheeler claims to have text messages, bank records and recorded conversations supporting his complaint, although much of the evidence cited comes from unnamed sources.
