Ondo state Police Command has announced the arrest of a lady that eloped with the baby of her mistress in Ondo town.
Police disclosed the name of the suspect, who is a tailoring appretice, as Temitọpẹ Adeniyi.
She was said to have tricked her mistress that she was going to withdraw money from a bank ATM and dissappeared with her mistress’s three month old baby since January 2.
The suspect, was said to have been introduced to her mistress by her husband.
Spokesman of the Ondo State police command, Tee- Leo Ikoro, confirmed this Tuesday evening.
According to him, the suspect was arrested with the baby hale and hearty.
Earlier, the baby’s father had admitted to dating the lady, but denied conniving with her to steal his three-month old baby, as alleged by his distraught wife.
