The Nigeria Movie Industry, Nollywood, has again been thrown into mourning following the death of one of its veteran actor, Victor Decker.
The veteran Nollywood actor was said to have died today but it has been gathered that the 72-year-old actor died days ago.
According to reports, Decker’s decomposing body was found on a couch in his apartment by his neighbours.
His neighbours had not seen him for days and decided to knock on his door to check on him. When he did not respond to the many knocks on his door and shouts of his name, they broke open his door and found his decomposing body.
His family members were alerted and his remains have been moved to the mortuary.
The cause of his death is yet unknown.
Late Decker starred in films like “Double Strings”, “If I am President” and “Lotanna”.
He will be sorely missed by families and colleagues in the make believe industry.
