Federal Capital Territory, FCT Minister Nyesom Wike has slammed Governor Seyi over his presidential ambition, saying the idea is dead on arrival.
The Minister also dismissed the supposed alliance between the Makinde-led Peoples Democratic party and the APM, describing the action as a ‘419’.
Wike, made the remark during the inspection of ongoing road projects in Gomani-Yangoji, Kwali Area Council, Abuja, saying the alliance is fraudulent and unknown to the authority, particularly the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC which he said had no knowledge about the alliance.
Governor Makinde had, on Thursday declared his presidential ambition under the APM, saying he the PDP faction under his control has formed an alliance with the APM ahead the 2027 election.
The Minister, however, describe Governor Makinde as fraud saying the PDP has not formed any alliance with either APM or any other political parties in the country, noting that the PDP will soon announce its own presidential candidate to Nigerians.
He stressed that Governor Makinde presidential ambition is dead on arrival.
Wike: “When I say people are fraudulent, they think I am joking. And that is the 419 we are talking about.
“There is no alliance between PDP and Allied Peoples Movement or any other political party, as the case may be. INEC also knows that there is nothing called a PDP-APM alliance.
“What you have is Seyi Makinde joining APM to be able to actualise his presidential ambition, which is already dead on arrival.”
Wike, the magazine recalls has vowed to support President Tinubu in the 2027 election.
