Kogi: Dino Melaye Fails To Vote, Came Late To Polling Centre
Dino Melaye, the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in the ongoing Kogi state election failed to vote on Saturday.
According to checks by the magazine, the former senator came late to his Polling Unit 04, Iluafon Quarters.
By the time he arrived the poling station around 2pm, voting had been closed by officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
Dino who is up against Usman Ododo, the candidate of incumbent Governor Yahaya Bello and the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the election, had vowed to displace the ruling party.
