Democratic Presidential hopeful may pick the former First Lady of America as his running mate if he wins. He may also pick her husband, President Obama, as the Chief Justice of the Supreme court. If this happens, this will be the first time a former first Lady is a running mate.

However, it is believed that Bidden wants to leverage on the apparent popularity of the former first couple to unseat the incumbent, Donald trump. Former foreign minister Hilary Clinton, after toying with the idea of a comeback, jettisoned it.

But Bidden, according to reports,  is not confident that President Obama will accept.

“I sure would like Michelle [Obama] to be the vice president,” Biden said recently at a campaign stop in Muscatine, Iowa, according to New York Post, an American Tabloid.

According to the paper, the comment came after the former vice president was asked if he would consider nominating former President Barack Obama to the Supreme Court.

“Yeah, I would, but I don’t think he’d do it. He’d be a great Supreme Court justice,” Biden responded.

The questioner followed up with the question, “Which Obama?”

Biden responded: “They’re both incredibly qualified people and they’re such decent, honorable people.”

The pairing would be a first in American politics; there has never been a presidential ticket that included a former first lady in the VP slot.

This isn’t the first time Biden had mentioned the idea of the former first lady being his running mate or the former president being on the Supreme Court, according to the paper.

Bidden has suddenly staged a comeback in the Democratic presidential primaries, as Bloomberg pulled out of the race, throwing his weight behind Biden. As at the last count, he seemed good to go with about eight states in his kitty, preparing to square up to President Trump.
