“I Will Not Allow Any Doctor Cut My Flesh For Cancer Test” – Nollywood Actor, Baba Johunomi Who Is Down With Prostate

Less than a week after the death of Taiwo Hassan popular as Ogogo died of Cancer, another Veteran Nollywood Actor, Musiliu Dasofunjo, also known as Baba Johunomi, has opened up about his battle with Prostate Cancer.

 

The Actor had, in a video shared on Facebook by fellow actor, Kunle Afod, urged members of the public to pay close attention to warning signs and seek medical attention when necessary.

 

The actor advised people to learn from his experience and avoid ignoring symptoms that could indicate serious health problems.

 

Narrating how it started, the veteran actor explained that: “It might not have gotten to this stage if I was aware of the symptoms earlier.

“I’m sharing this for people to learn and be informed because cancer is now on the rise.

 

“I first noticed a change in my urine. I was having a splitting urine stream; my urine sprayed in different directions instead of a single flow. But I didn’t take it seriously.

 

“After some time, I started having trouble urinating before I was advised to visit the hospital. I have done many tests and scans.

 

“I was referred to UCH in Ibadan, where the specialist said they needed to cut part of my flesh to do another cancer test,” he said.

 

While expressing fears over the development, he said he can’t allow the doctor to cut some parts of his body to do an advanced cancer test.

“I can’t allow the doctor to cut some parts of my body to do an advanced cancer test,” he said.

 

He said it was later discovered that he had Prostate Cancer.

 

He advised Nigerian men to be conscious of their health and take necessary steps when this warning signs begin to show.

 

Baba Johunomi is just one out of many Nigerians suffering from Cancer, especially Prostate Cancer, that affects Men.

 

Recall that the Make Believe industry had lost many of their actors to the cold hands of death due to Cancer.

 

Ogogo was the latest actor to die of the disease, likewise Nollywood Actor, Alex Ekubo; Sadiq Daba; Karibi Fubara; Aisha Abimbola, Ethel Epke;, Remi Abiola; Doris Chima; Tom Njemanze and Stella Ikwuegbu.
