The Honourable Justice Nasir Yunusa of the Federal High Court, Kano Division is dead.
The accomplished Jurist reportedly passed on after he collapsed at his residence. The incident took place on Thursday while he was in his living room.
Confirming the passing of the Judge, the Director of Information, Federal High Court, Nigeria, Catherine Christopher disclosed the Justice Yunusa passed on at the State Medical Center, Kano.
The Federal High Court in a statement said: “The Federal High Court regrets to announce the passing of Honourable Justice Mohammed Nasir Yunusa of the Kano Judicial Division who departed this life on 21 May 2026, after a brief illness.”
The Court extended condolences to his family and prayed for the repose of his soul.
He was laid to rest Friday in Kano.
