Popular Male Barbie, Idris Olanrewaju Okuneye, known as Bobrisky, has been granted an administrative bail by the Nigeria Police following his alleged connection to a complaint of fraud at the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti, Yaba, Lagos.
The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Bala Elkanan, said that Bobrisky was allegedly picked up by men of the Lagos state police on Friday night, following information that he allegedly defrauded a business woman who contacted him to run her business under “Bobs Wings”.
They had started off without hitches.
But Bobrisky was accused of being shady by not remitting proceeds from the business.
The woman reportedly took the case to court and also ordered for his arrest and questioning, over his failure to remit her money.
The cross dresser was arrested at his residence in Bera Estate, Chevron Drive, Lekki, Lagos. He was arrested, and his cars, which include a Range Rover, were driven out of the estate to an unknown destination.
Investigation by this magazine revealed that the controversial cross dresser’s ordeal started last week when the said woman contracted some bloggers to expose Bobrisky, alleging she has been duped by Bobrisky. She, also revealed that Bobrisky has been arrested.
The blogger wrote: “Bobrisky has just been arrested and detained by Lagos police concerning the Bob Wing money shim take buy ijekuje. AUNTCLE has been locked in the male cell, in a Lagos Police divisional station, about some minutes ago.”
“For those saying that’s not shim, maybe you will need the IPO number to confirm Shim you are doing well ooin. Enjoy your sleep AUNTCLE, when the mosquitoes in the cell show face, just tell them you are the AREA MAMA, they won’t chop your Gbola.”
Bobrisky has been enmeshed in controversy since he came into spotlight few years ago.
The story of his rumoured death was, a few weeks ago, carried by the African Independent Television, AIT.
Months back his planned birthday party was disrupted by the Police.
