The Enugu State Sector of the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, is bereaved.
It has lost its Sector Commander, Franklin Agbakoba.
Announcing his sudden passing in a statement, the FRSC Deputy Corps Commander in-charge of Enugu State Operations, DCC Kyrian Okolo, expressed shock, saying the unfortunate incident occurred on Thursday, 30th July, 2026.
“FRSC Enugu State Sector Command received the sad news of the demise of CC Franklin Agbakoba on Thursday, July 30.
“The late Sector Commander died at the Niger Foundation Hospital, Enugu, where he was receiving treatment.
“His corpse has been deposited at the Eastern Medical Centre, Enugu,” he said.
Prior to his demise, Agbakoba made inter-agency collaboration and partnership, he however advocated and promoted safer roads within Enugu State.
He would be remembered by colleagues in the FRSC for his dedication, patriotism and his legacy.
