There is pandemonium at the National Headquarters of the West African Examination Council, WAEC, as Fire has gutted the 12-Storey Building located in Yaba, Lagos.
The early morning fire outbreak led to hundreds of people scampering for safety.
Many people are feared trapped in the building as the fire rages.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. However, emergency responders are at the scene and the fire was being put off.
Firefighters from the University of Lagos (UNILAG) and Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) have arrived the scene of the incident to extinguish the fire as of the time of filing this report.
A staff of the Council believed to have been trapped in between some floors was observed attempting to jump through the window of the 12-floor in a bid to escape being suffocated.
