Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has approved the re-appointment of Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti as the Secretary to the State Government (SSG).
A statement on Tuesday by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Ebenezer Adeniyan stated that the appointment takes immediate effect.
Dr. Fasoranti was the SSG until March 30, 2026 when he resigned to contest in the Senate primaries of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) for Ondo Central Senatorial District.
He participated in the national Assembly primaries of the APC, won but the national leadership of the party replaced his name, thus paving way for the second tenure of the incumbent senator representing Ondo central, Adeniyi Adegbonmire.
Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti brings to the office a wealth of experience in public administration, policy formulation, and governance.
Governor Aiyedatiwa congratulates Dr. Fasoranti on his appointment and charges him to justify the confidence reposed in him by serving the people of Ondo State with dedication, integrity, and commitment to the Our Ease agenda of his administration.
