Reports of explosions caused by rocket launchers, Thursday, wrenched the embattled air of the vicinity of the Maiduguri Airport as Presidential jet, carrying President Muhammadu Buhari, touched down at the Airport.

The explosions reportedly wreaked havoc in the embattled town of Ngomari, two kilometers from the Maiduguri Airport.

Reports indicate that five children lost their lives, many houses destroyed, as terrorists bombarded the town, sending a direct message to the visiting President.

Villagers, hard hit by the attacks, were overheard shouting ” Ba ma so”, meaning they do not want the Presidential visit.

Ngomari is near Maiduguri Airforce base.
