A former Minister for Youths and Sports, Solomon Dalung, has disclosed that President Bola Tinubu was very worried over the demolition of properties by the embattled former Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai when the later was in office.
Dalung said that of particular concern for Tinubu was a property which was older than then Governor El-Rufai which he demolished.
According to Dalung, he had gone to see Tinubu for things not related to El-Rufai when the President suddenly asked him “Can you look at what El-Rufai has done?”

Dalung who spoke during an interview on Channels Television, said Tinubu specifically pointed to the demolition of a house that he said was older than El-Rufai.
According to Dalung, President Tinubu told him: “Imagine him(El-Rufai) demolishing a house that was older than him.”
He, also, disclosed that Tinubu told him he had advised El-Rufai to discontinue his ambition (demolishing) because of the controversy surrounding the house he was attempting to demolish.
Dalung did not, however, disclose the period he had the audience with Tinubu as the President was not in office when El-Rufai was the Governor of Kaduna State.
