Apostle Kassy Chukwu, an aide to Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo, has clarified that his comments on Afrobeats Star, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, was personal and never represented government’s position.

Chukwu, in a withdrawal of his earlier threat, apologised to Davido.

Chukwu had criticised Davido after the singer reacted to comments made by Okpebholo about Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke during the state’s governorship election.

Davido had said Okpebholo’s children should be ashamed of their father following the governor’s remarks about Adeleke.

In a viral video, Chukwu clarified that his response to Davido was not made on behalf of the Edo State Government.
