Wiebe Boer, a Dutch national who was born and brought up in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria,  has declared interest to contest for governorship in Plateau State.

He is known as Yohanna Maigona by the locals.

He attended secondary school in Jos and speaks Hausa and English fluently.

Speculations are rife that Boer is rather being sarcastic because of the number of aspirants justling for elective positions come 2023. Moreover, his party, All For All Peoples Party, is not registered by the Independent National Electoral commission, INEC.

Boer holds an American passport.

In recent times, his posters have flooded the internet, and is said to be gaining high level of acceptability within the zone.
