Dunamis Church Founder, Pastor Paul Enecehe is devastated and mourning following the death of one of his Pastors at the Church Branch located at the Mission Ward North Bank in Makurdi, the Benue State capital.
The Church building collapsed in the early hours of Tuesday.
According to Channels Television, the building caved in, while four
individuals including the Pastor were observing prayers.
The other three individuals escaped.
Residential buildings and electricity infrastructure around the building were affected by the collapse.
The cause of the incident is however unclear.
When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer for the Benue State Police Command, Anene Sewuese Catherine, said she was not aware of the incident.
However, Police personnel from the C Division, North Bank, are already on the ground as emergency officials were on their way to the scene of the collapsed building.
The Church Headquarters is yet to issue a statement over the unfortunate incident.
