The ripple effects of this week’s flag-off of the dredging of OGUTA LAKE will be more amazing in the future with its multiple economic benefits.

UBA

I remember with regret the unfulfilled OGUTA WONDER LAKE but happily a good succeeding Government is a continuum.

Many thanks to Governor Hope Uzodinma for his many and numerous INTANGIBLE ACCOMPLISHMENTS for Imo people, particularly but not limited to the upgrade of the Federal Medical Centre Owerri to a Federal University Teaching Hospital, the upgrade of Alvan Ikoku College of Education to Alvan Ikoku University of Education, recovery of the magnificent K.O Mbadiwe University, building of a brand new Omuma Polytechnic, establishment of an Engineering campus of Imo State University at Onuimo, establishment of a brand new University of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences Umuagwo, establishment of Ohaji/ Egbema Skills Acquisition campus of the Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Civil Service Authomation & Reforms, institutionalising a manifest fiscal discipline in government expenditure, ensuring quality construction jobs especially in the area of road revolution as well as other federal government interventions and partnerships through personal and official relationship with President Muhammad Buhari.

Other intangible achievements include his resolve and tireless restoration of relative peace to Imo State and his commitment towards the reactivation of the Chatter of Equity to ensure seamless transfer of power to the three zones starting from Owerri Zone in 2028 going forward.

ALL these INTANGIBLE DERIVATIVES will surely vindicate him and history will be kind to him after finally implementing and firming up the Chatter in 2028, God willing.
