He died at the age of 93 Years after less than three years in the saddle as the Leader and Spiritual Father of the fold.
In a statement, the Secretary General of the Church, Snr. Sp, Ap. Pro, Anthony Olusesan Samaye, said the revered Clergyman transited to glory and called to sainthood peacefully in his sleep at about 2:10am at his residence in Lagos.
He added that he was with his family members and domestic staff when he transited to glory.
He urged the Church to stay firm and strong at this moment, and stressed that prayers will be held at his residence daily by 5.00pm for seven days.
Samaye prayed that God will give the family and the Church at large the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. He added that burial arrangements will be announced later.
