Mixed reactions have trailed the birthday Party held at Funke Akindele’s Amen Estate Residence at Ibeju Lekki for her husband, Abdulrasheed Bello, popularly known as JJC Skillz.
On Saturday April 4th, 2020, celebrities thronged the residence of the Bellos to celebrate Funke’s hubby despite the Social distancing and lockdown order by the Federal and State Governments.
The social media has, since then, been awash with criticisms against the Bellos and other celebrities that went to felicitate with them. They say the Bellos and the other celebrities present are role models to the youths, their fans Nigerians and brand ambassadors to different companies in the country and shouldn’t be flouting government order.
Celebrities present at the Party include: Naira Marley, Eniola Badmus, former Lagos State Gubernatorial Aspirant, Babatunde Gbadamosi among others.
Over 25 people attended the Party.
Many called for the compulsory quarantine of everyone who attended the party.
They also expressed disappointment in Gbadamosi for attending the party.
According to them, the former governorship aspirant has always been the first to criticise the government’s approach since the outbreak of the virus in the state.
