The news of the death of Willie Anumudu, Chairman, Globe Motors, has hit Nigeria like a thunderbolt.
Anumudu died 4.00am Monday morning from an undisclosed health issue.
Popular as Papa Willy, he was to be evacuated to Germany Monday, but he unfortunately slumped and passed on
A native of Obilubi, Obazu, Mbieri, Imo state, he was born on November, 29, 1951.
He was an alumnus of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
Anumudu founded Globe Motors in 1982, and was married to his lovely Nkeiru with whom he had four children. He was senior brother to Humphrey Anumudu, a politician.
Unfortunately, his wife is stuck in London. She was on a trip to London, and got caught up in the COVID-19 crisis.
