Governor Aminu Masari of Katsina state is mourning following the death of his nephew in a car crash this morning.
The magazine has yet to find out the name of the victim, but it was learned that he died, alongside two policemen on his way to the governor’s hometown where he was planning to vote during the governorship and State House of Assembly elections taking place today
The governor is among northern governors who are desperate to win their states for their party, the All Progressives Congress, APC, after they lost the presidential election to the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
