Fiery Human Rights Activist, and, until the 2019 Election when he lost out, the Senator representing Kaduna Central, Senator Shehu Sani, may spend the New Year eve cooling his legs in the cell of the Economic and Financial Fraud Commission, EFCC
Shehu was arrested Tuesday, by EFCC. He got into trouble for an alleged extortion, to the tune of 20,000 USD, by fraudulently using the name of the EFCC boss, CP Ibrahim Magu.
Sani reportedly collected the money, by claiming to be close to Magu, from the owner of ASD Motors.
On arrest, earlier, he was given an administrative bail. He refunded the money to the owner, but has, allegedly, shunned every invitation extended to him by the EFCC in connection with the case.
