Breaking: Buhari’s Chief Of Staff, Abba Kyari Is Dead

Buhari’s chief of staff, Abba Kyari, is dead. He died of COVID 19 infection. It is not clear where he died as his movement since he became sick was shrouded in secrecy.
In a statement by Femi Adesina, Buhari’s media aid, on his verified Twitter account, information was scanty.
“Chief of Staff to the President, Mallam Abba Kyari, passes on. May God rest his soul. Amen. Funeral arrangements to be announced soon,” he twitted.
Abba Kyari is a Muslim, and his burial is expected to be immediate according to Islamic rights. Why it will be “announced soon” remains a puzzle.
Rumors of his death were rife two weeks ago when the daughter of a former southwest governor twitted a veiled reference to his death two weeks ago.
