Governor Rotimi Akeredolu, SAN, of Ondo State, has been re-elected for a second term in office.
He was announced winner Sunday afternoon, after the October 10 Governorship election.
Akeredolu scored a total vote of 292,830 to defeat his closest rival, Eyitayo Jegede of the PDP, who scored 195,791. The Deputy Governor of the state, and candidate of the ZLP, Agboola Ajayi, who scored 69,127 votes.
