Here is the shocker from Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi state.
Ten Governors of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, will defect to the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Governor Bello confidently says the defections will take place within weeks. “You wait and see”, he boasted.
Speaking to Channels Television’s Seun Okinbaloye Friday evening, on Politics Today, Bello asked Nigerians to wait for “what would happen in a matter of weeks”.
Bello also spoke on the crisis which has engulfed his party, and on the NEC meeting during which the NWC was sacked, and a Caretaker Committee put in place.
He praised the sacked National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole, for his contributions to the Party, but does not see him coming back to that seat. He will remain a member of the party, he said.
On the alleged crippling of Bola Tinubu, Bello said Tinubu remains one of the leaders in the Party.
And deserves respect by everybody.
