The Deputy Director General of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Presidential Campaign Council, Adams Oshiomhole, has said the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, cannot manage Nigeria.
Why?
Oshiomhole, a former National Chairman of the APC, and former Governor of Edo State, said Atiku is a serial divorcee. According to Oshiomhole, how can Atiku, a serial divorcee manage Nigeria, talk of unity and family, when he cannot manage his household?
Oshiomhole who spoke on Wednesday, November 30, in an interview with Channels Television, also, labeled the PDP Presidential candidate as “a serial betrayer”, citing the allegations of the five PDP “rebellious” Governors led by the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, as an example.
Oshiomhole: “You, Atiku, cannot manage your household. You are a serial divorcee, and you want to preach unity and family to me?”
He dismissed Atiku as the weakest link of the three frontline Presidential candidates.
He also described Atiku as inconsistent and lacking in character and reminded Nigerians that the PDP Presidential Candidate has moved from the APC to the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, back to the PDP, and to the APC, and back to the PDP, since 1999 when democracy returned to Nigeria after a long spell of Military Regime.
Apparently, comparing Atiku and the APC Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Oshiomhole said:
“For Atiku, if he is not the candidate, he takes a flight to Dubai. But you are talking of someone, who upon leaving office, supported his wife, rather than himself. Talking of selfless service and gender equality. It speaks of character. When you have sense of belief, you cannot be jumping from one party to the other every other election. His ambition is just for himself.”
Tinubu, on leaving office as a two- term Governor of Lagos State, supported his wife, Oluremi, to go to the Senate. She is serving her third term as a Senator.
Oshiomhole also pointed out that Atiku cannot be trusted as emphasized by the PDP G-5 who now refer to themselves as the “Integrity Group.”
Said Oshiomhole: “PDP Governors said we can’t trust him. Every agreement we made with him, he broke it. He is a serial betrayer of agreements.”
Atiku has had two divorcees. The most recent is his divorce of former NTA girl, Jennifer Iwenjora from Anambra State.
