The inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu has restored the security aides of Wife of the president Aisha Buhari.
The security aides, including her Aide-de-camp, ADC CSP, Usman Shugaba were withdrawn penultimate week after a clash with President Muhammadu Buhari’s Private Secretary, Sabiu Yusuf also known as Tunde.
There were initial suggestions that the ADC has been recalled to the Force Headquarters, never to work with the First Lady.
Shugaba has now returned to Aso Villa where he’s expected to coordinate the president wife’s security.
Sources in the Presidency told the magazine that President Buhari directed the IGP to restore his wife’s security aides, even as he has ordered investigations into the clash that led to shooting in the Villa two weeks ago.
Recall that the gun clash came after Tunde, allegedly positive of corona virus, flew in from Lagos and reportedly refused to self-isolate.
Aisha and her children, sourced said had tried to stop him from gaining entry into the presidential villa, leading to shooting between Aisha’s security details and others sent by the IGP to maintain order.
