The caretaker committee of the All Progressives Congress,(APC) will be in office till June 2021.
This followed the extension of the tenure of the committee on Tuesday at the virtual national executive committee of the party held at the presidential villa Abuja with governors and others joining virtually.
The NEC also dissolved all the organs of the party from ward, State and Zonal executives with only caretaker national committee, the only organ not affected by the dissolution.
Virtually all state organs of the party had been in crisis with some states dragging the leadership to court.
This has led to suspension and counter action on the part of those at the centre of the crisis, especially in Ekiti state where a faction led by Senator Babafemi Ojudu reportedly suspended Governor Kayode Fayemi.
