Akwanga, Former Minister, Dies

A former Minister of Labour and Productivity, Alhaji Hussaini Zanwa Akwanga has died, reports reaching this Magazine indicate.

He died on Friday, December 17, 2021.

The 77 year old reportedly died in his country home in Akwanga, Nasarawa State.

Akwanga was a Minister under former President Olusegun Obasanjo, but was relieved of his appointment later, by his boss.

Akwanga was once kidnapped and held captive for two days in 2017, long before kidnapping became a full fledgling  business which the government seems helpless to handle.

He has, reportedly, been buried according to Islamic rights.
