The First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Aisha Buhari, has deactivated her Twitter account.
This is obviously in solidarity with the Federal Government’d ban on Twitter.
President Buhari had, in a fit of rage against the Big Tech company, suspended it for daring to pull down down his alleged genocidal tweet.
Mrs Buhari had over one million followers on Twitter.
Before deactivating the account, she tweeted:
“I will be deactivating my Twitter account for now. Long live Federal Republic of Nigeria”.
President Buhari’s ban on Twitter appears to be ineffective as the social media company is still up and running.
