The Chief Executive Officer of Access Bank Plc, Roosevelt Ogbonna has commended the Ogun state government for the partnership that led to the construction of the Cargo airport in the state,
The commercial bank’s chief executive gave the commendation when he led other top executive of the bank on a visit to the Ogun state helmsman, in his office.
He said the state government has gone beyond mere policy making, rather it has fostered partnership focusing on the long-term development of the Gateway state, saying the bank shares the same vision for the future of the state. .
Ogbonna also lauded Governor Abiodun for delivering on the Gateway international Airport, describing the project as a strategic, bold leadership initiative, adding that the state is an epitome of what a “working democracy looks like”, considering its infrastructure strides under the Abiodun administration.
Speaking, Governor Abiodun lauded the bank for backing his vision for the airport.
He said, “They saw the vision from the outset and backed it. A vision without funding is merely a hallucination.”
