Government Ekpemupolo, founder of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement, has declared that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will win the 2027 president election, to be reelected as Nigeria’s leader and Commander-in- chief. Ekpemupolo also known as Tompolo boasted that the incumbent will win over 70 percent of the votes for reelection, the News Agency ofNigeria, NAN reports.
According tothe news agency,Tomopolo made this remark in Kano state on Sunday, where he was represented by Emomotimi Guwor, Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, and Chairman of the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria.
The former repentant militant cited the developmental strides under the Tinubu adminsitration,which,he said,will makeNigerians tovote for himagain. These include bold reform in infrastructure and economic sector,particularly the removalofthe fuel subsidy,which,according tohim hasmede the presidnt to receive massive support fromNigerians.
He stressed that President Tinubu has performed excellently, somuch so,that many state governors in the country,are rooing forhimand have thrown their support behind his reelection bid.
He cited some infrastructure projects in the northern part of the country, including the rail project and the Abuja–Kaduna–Kano gas pipeline as the majorreason why the president has received massive support fromthepeopleofthe region, for relection next year.
He said: “The president is doing excellent work. That is why you can see that all the state governors are supporting President Bola Tinubu.
“A lot has been done and you can see that he is very bold with his economic reforms. Good things attract people.
“I am convinced that come January 16, the people of Nigeria will speak in a loud voice in supporting the president to return, to continue his reform, and I know very well that he’s going to win.”
A serious opposition is currently being mounted against President Tinubu’s reelection bid by former Vice President Atiku Abubakar ofthe African Democratic Congress,ADC, Peter Obi of the Nigeria Democratic Congress,NDC among others.
The president is ofthe All Progressives Congress, APC.
