One of the sidelines of the Delegates Conference of the Nigeria Labour Congress, in Abuja on Wednesday is the reception accorded former Governor of Edo State and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole.
Oshiomole, a former President of the NLC was booed as he stepped out to deliver an address on behalf of the APC presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu.
Even up to the time the microphone was handed over to him, guests at the occasion, mostly workers shouted at their former leader, telling him to speak as one of them.
At a point when he mentioned that he wanted to speak on behalf of Tinubu, the uproar continued until he declared that “if you don’t want that, I will speak for myself as a former president of NLC.”
He had earlier earlier told the gathering that Tinubu had wanted to personally attend but had another event in Ibadan, Oyo state.
