With Low Turn-Out At His Polling Unit, Tinubu Wins; Obi Wins In Ago, Lagos, in a Landslide

With a very low turn-out at his Unit 85, Alausa, Ikeja, the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, won with a score of 33 Votes. He was followed by Peter Obi.

The Polling Unit has a total number of 324 Voters, but only 43 of them came out to be accredited.

Tinubu scored 33 votes, Peter Obi of the Labour Party scored eight votes, while Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, scored one vote. Others scored none.

Meanwhile, at Polling Unit 055, Keke Abimbola, Ago Lagos, Obi scored 122 votes to beat Tinubu, who scored nine votes to a second place. Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party scored no vote.

However, the election in Lagos has been marred by violence, deliberate disenfranchisement of voters, suppression of votes, and snatching of ballot boxes.
